I have a simpler answer, "He who has not been invaded by stinkbugs." Our local newspaper has an article in the Sunday edition describing their westward progress from their initial introduction in SE Pennsylvania. It led me to pull out my grandmother's field guide to insects which carries a margin note in her handwriting, 'stink bug.' I remember her identifying one when I was a child, and warning me not to smash it because of the awful odor, but I have never seen them in such great numbers as in the past year. It isn't enough that they attacked all my squash. Now that the weather's turning, they're trying to get into my house. It doesn't make me happy.
